Paravolley Development Camp

Volleyball Australia has hosted a Paravolley development camp at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra in June 2023. In total 12 Players from all over Australia with a disability came to Canberra. There were also 10 coaches who are interested in learning more about Paravolley. I was one of them.

The camp gave the opportunities to learn skills, tactics and strategies in both disciplines, Beach Paravolley and Sitting Volleyball, as well as workshops involving athlete and coach development on and off the court.

The camp took place from Friday 9 to Monday 12 June, and was the first step for Volleyball Australia on the path to the Brisbane Paralympics in 2032.
