Due to a lack of serious and committed involvement and focus on sitting volleyball in the Netherlands, John Bestebroer organised and funded the making of this Paravolley website by a professional website company in October 2017. From 1 November 2017 till January 2019 this website was active and provided Dutch sitting volleyball information on a regular basis.
In preparation for the 2018 World Cup, regular information was required but was not shared by the official organisations and Nevobo (Dutch Volleyball Federation). As information about the upcoming World Championships sitting volleyball 2018 was shared by the www.paravolley.nl, many people in the Netherlands spoke very positive about the personal initiative to create this website.
At the moment the website is not active due to other priorities.
